Tasmanian Professional Photographer of the Year 2006
These
are the moments that I wait for. The look in Grandma's eyes the soft
gesture of the brides hand. Fleeting moments of real emotion and
passion that say so much more than a posed photograph could ever hope
to say.
Those
special moments of magic that say what we feel in our hearts, and which
will become the foundations of our collective memory. |

A Moment To Remember
One
of the things that I have noticed after shooting hundreds of weddings,
is that , as bride and groom, you don't get any time to yourselves on
the wedding day.
For the first half of the day, the only bit of talking you do is when the celebrant tells you what to say!
Straight after the ceremony, everyone wants to hug and kiss and throw stuff at you and even in the car there is a driver.
One of the things I really like to do is send you off to be by yourselves. Go for a walk alone and really talk to each other
will still be taking pictures using a long lens, and the images will
be all the more special because in 30 years time, they will still
remind you of what you said to each other. |
