First Knife from Chinese Chopper

It all started because of COVID! stuck alone at home with nothing to do, my wife in Albury looking after her Dad, I came across the blade of an old chinese style chopper that had broken off its handle, but which I was loathed to chuck out because, in my mind ,I figured I could do something with the blade. I knew nothing about hardened steel , or that using a 76mm belt  sander on hardened steel was going to take a lot of time and effort I set out to make a knife. This is as far as I got with this one, and I keep it as a reminder that I have progressed in this fascinating hobby!
